Dario Posada’s work has been presented in more than 10 individual exhibitions and over
40 collective ones in Colombia, and outside his native country. EEUU, Germany, Spain and
Trinidad and Tobago.          

After graduating from Master of Fine Arts, National University of Colombia in the 1999s, he was
awarded a scholarship to continue his postgraduate studies in Arts. He has also received prizes
for his work, including

• Participated in "City of Miami Office Building", USA, 2000.
• Special Guest of Siemens Company to do a painting in front of a live audiencethe event was called “Take Off”, Germany 2000.

• Top ten youngest artists in Southern USA, in 2002
• Third place in a contest of Human Rights, Medellín, Colombia, 2004.
• Invited to do a painting for a well known Pianist Named Arthur Hanlon who performed at the event held of  February 1, 2007. Painted his piano which was televised on FOX Sports, Miami Florida.
• Selected by the United Nations for next year project Eco-Art. 2009

Throughout his painting he shows a sense of urban energy that is always present, it surrounds and manipulates us. His human consciousness and sensitivity has led him to portray in his artwork social issues like Clandestine and its isolation, and also a Vulgar version of some of the most important art
works in history with the use of elements that people can distinguish. He tries to awaken the interest of
art in all types of social groups.

At the moment he resides in Alameda California, where he continues to work in painting.
